Erin Jung, Principal
Erin Jung brings more than twelve years in the prospect research and management field to
her clients. She began as a prospect researcher at Washington University in St. Louis in
January 1999, eventually moving to Barnes-Jewish Hospital Foundation. She headed up
the prospect research and management office for the Foundation as well as the Alvin J.
Siteman Cancer Center Campaign, a $125 million joint campaign between BJHF and
Washington University School of Medicine. Erin then joined the Saint Louis Art Museum as
prospect research manager during the preparation and quiet phases of their current $125
million capital campaign. Erin developed prospect management systems for BJHF and the
Museum which encompassed prospect identification, database tracking and reporting, and
prospect research functions.
Erin has consulted for a number of organizations since 2001. She now consults full time
as Principal of Jung Prospect Research, LLC and as Adjunct Counsel for the Chicago-
based fundraising firm Ter Molen Watkins & Brandt LLC. Erin helps clients in the field of
prospect management, streamlining their database tracking and reporting, as well as in
the field of prospect research, offering numerous profile levels and pricing.
She is a member of Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Association of
Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA), APRA Missouri/Kansas Chapter, and
New England Development Research Association (NEDRA). Erin is also a past board
member of APRA Missouri/Kansas Chapter and has served as an APRA mentor for two
Missouri prospect researchers. She earned her bachelor’s degree in history, minor in art
history at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
